Villa Emerald

Our best projects

A small garden of 500 square metres embraces this modern-designed villa located in Padenghe sul Garda. In order to meet the customer’s requirements and make the most of the available space, Cherubini was responsible for the design of the outdoor space. The very essence of the project starts with the choice of vegetation to enjoy a solid evergreen structure, right down to the lighting and irrigation system. A pond at the entrance to the house embellishes the space.

During the first site visit, we were told about the wishes of the customer, an architect and owner of ‘Gruppo Building’, a construction company known for the exclusive realisation of buildings of innovative design. The customer expressed his interest in a modern-style garden with a Mediterranean touch.

Planimetric layout

The layout of the spaces on the floor plan was carefully designed to meet the customer’s request, using straight lines inspired by the unique boomerang shape of the house. The Mediterranean atmosphere is emphasised by the choice of plants, including olive, cypress, orange and bougainvillea trees, which give the garden an authentic feeling of warmth and beauty typical of this region.

The in-house design team produced a preview of the final design using photorealistic rendering. This technique, performed using computer software, allows a detailed and faithful representation of a three-dimensional space to be obtained. Thanks to this approach, the customer was able to examine the complete project in advance, even before work started, in order to have a clear understanding of how it would look upon completion.

Green space construction

Construction proved to be a complex operation as the house is elevated above ground and the entire front consists of a garden on a slab, with the garage underneath. We have overcome these challenges through the use of specialised machinery. In addition, the customer wanted privacy from the street, a request fulfilled by installing tall hedges in strategic points. Cor-ten sheets were used to separate the flowerbeds from the lawn, giving the landscaping a modern design and straight lines.
